Still figuring this one out

I am not sure I have this figured out. Ive done some of the basics like take stills and slow motion and a running recording. It uses a lot of disk space to record. I am guessing I could cut back on frames/sec or image size/quality. Havent figured out those fine tuning aspects.
The slow-mo is really slow..... It is also very useful in determining hold, release and recoil aspects for a fine tuned analysis of each shot.
I am really struggling to figure out how the "auto" record works. I thought I read that it can record just the activity around each shot. That would be great.. pretty boring to watch the sighting and between shot sequence in slow motion.
Someone commented that the quality is really based on the focus on the scope... very true. You have to focus the scope. I have not been able to really bring the reticle into sharp focus. I guess it is good enough but not crisp as it is viewed directly through the eyepiece.
Still a learning process. Really wis there was a better written manual on how to use this... Like explaining the settings and how-to examples. There does not seem to be a large user community to lean on. In any case I am learning and the quality seems OK.

1. The S18 support 512G micro SD card, you can use bigger memory disk card.
2. There are 3 ways to trigger the recording: A: Press the recording buttong on the device or on the APP. B: Recoil Activated Recording, when it sets the RAR on, it automatically records each shooting before and after the shooting total 20 seconds once it detects the shooting recoil, connecting to APP, the RAR can only function when the wifi is turned off. C: Setting the APP feature Power on recording, it will start to record once the device is turn on.
3. Yes, to have a clear and sharp reticle image is the fundamental basis for recording the scope. You can point the scope to the sky, adjust the focus knob of the S18, to make it clear reticle at all magnification power of the scope. Then just adjust the side parallax according to different range.
4. Scopes with ED or better glasses can have good clarity video.

Few steps to install and very fast . Only it’s little heavy .

I actually took it out for the first time yesterday, everything did what it was supposed to do, the camera image was very good, and the operation was simple to understand the status of the camera, solid green on, flashing recording. I had seen some reviews prior to buying it, the one's that cast doubt on the ability or quality of the camera or video are frankly full of shit. I had no problem focusing the camera and reticle. The only thing you have to do is remember to focus your parallax, which you should be doing anyway. Another review I saw was concerned with "knocking" the reticle adjustment out accidently. I can't see how you can do that as the adjustment is quite stiff. I am very happy with it and would recommend the product.

If the reticle image is too small, what settings can be done to solve this issue?

Turn on WiFi and connect the S18 to the ScopemateCam App, set the "Lens Angle" menu from default option "
Wide" to "Medium", if still not big enough, set to "Narrow" to make the Reticel image big enough.

How Do I Know the Battery is in Charging and When the Battery Fully charged?

In charge the battery, please do not turn on the device, when the battery is in Charge, the Red Light will turn on, once it is fully charged, the red light will automatically turn off.

The device can not turn on, what should I do?

1. Sometimes, the device is triggered a mechanism of protection, please take out the battery for about one minute, then insert the battery again to turn on.

2. The battery is out of power, you can connect the USB-C cable with a 5V adaptor to charge the battery.

The Scope size is not in the standard Size 39mm, 42mm, 45mm and 48mm, what should I do to fit the device?

Please use the high elastic Rubber band to enlarge the scope to stand size, each can enlarge the diameer 1mm, please pay attention to the big friction force of the rubber material, can use the plastic to cover the rubber band before install the S18

When the Device is recording, can I turn on the WiFi?

When the device is recording, the green light is flashing, you can not turn on the Wifi, press the left key to stop the recording before turn on the WiFi.
